After the merger of 4 public transport buscompanies (a.o Midnet, Oostnet), some tourist busorganisations and some taxitransportfirms a new company had to be launched. The complete internal and external communications was structured and a new branding was implemented for the existing one (more than 50).The new branded company ConneXXion was in former times named VSN 1 and part of the national organisation VSN(Verenigd Streekvervoer Nederland).

Mobile communications had to be set up as a new business line in which all existing relevant products and services had to be integrated as well as a new business philosophy via service providers for mobile telephony. Most important however was that this new Business Unit should be prepared for the competition which was starting within a year.
