My main responsibilities as a Facilities Centre person includes receiving all the mail from couriers andother companies, record them in the company`s system, and deliver them to the final recipient. Someother activities include:-preparing parcels and documents for shipment-preparing stationary packages for the employees-keep stock/ place order regarding stationary-relationship with suppliers-customer service-meeting and greeting firm`s clients and visitors-dealing with telephone calls-filing firm`s documentation-providing administrative support to all staff members

Working on the development of the Guarantee Minimun Income (GMI) that will replace the existingpublic assistance programme and will be implemented by July 2014. Working under the guidance ofthe Minister`s expert consultans, to define the Minumum Consumption Basket for 5 differenthousehold types of families, by studying the example of Britain and the work of Professor JonathanBradshaw who is contracted to provide his inputs and expirience on the subject. We have used thereference budgets of Britain and adapted them to the Cypriot reality, our tasks invlolved preparing theMinimum Consumption Basket budget for the 5 different household types of families, studyingacademic papers on developing cross-nationally comparable reference budgets in Europe and theminimum income standard in Britain, collecting prices for costing and pricing of the different MinimumConsumption Basket categories and at the same time working closely with the Statistical Service andSocial Welfare Services in developing the pricing of the budget standards.
