I'm a polyglot with a true love for building web applications and services. I write code in Go, Ruby, PHP, JavaScript/Node, and Java, which enables me to pick the best tool for every job and—more importantly—to view things in the perspectives afforded by different languages and platforms. I can package up applications in containers with Docker and configure Kubernetes resources to run them. I originally wanted to be a network engineer and have taken CISCO CCNA classes, so I'm knowledgable and passionate about networks and DevOps as well.I soak up new information like a sponge and pride myself on mastering new technical skills. My knowledge is varied and spans a wide array of subject matter, and I love adding to that collection. My mind works incredibly analytically, and I love looking at all sides of a problem, collecting as much data as possible, then making creative connections between the data, business logic, and user experiences to come up with the best solution possible. I am not satisfied learning just a part of the system and have no hesitation diving into the other parts in order to synthesize that understanding into a coherent picture of systems in their entirety.
