I am a Counselling Psychologist , a Life Coach and an Emotional Intelligence Coach- all rolled into one. I have been providing emotional support and empowering people to cope with various issues like anger management, stress, anxiety, loneliness, relationship issues, parenting, etc . I have also been a part of a Covid helpline and have helped people cope with covid related anxiety and stress. I am someone who believes that learning never stops and this is what I have been doing - continuing to learn and sometimes having to unlearn too. I have been in teaching profession for many years and while doing my B.Ed which is mandatory for teaching profession, I got introduced to Psychology and developed an interest towards it. I then did a Certificate Course in Student Counseling which then led me to do a Diploma in Counseling Skills. This ignited my interest in the field of counseling further and I then completed my Post graduation in Counseling Psychology. Currently, I am practicing as a Counseling Psychologist for Therapy and Beyond and Prism Counselling.Emotional Intelligence ( EI )has been a topic very close to my heart right from my teaching days as I feel EQ is more important than IQ, however nothing much is done to teach children about EI. As an EI Coach, I strive to raise awareness in parents, in teachers and in children about the importance of EI and the various aspects of it. I am a certified Life Coach and also an NLP practitioner (asso) and I help my clients so that they can set well defined goals, overcome dilemmas and challenges and decide on the action plan to reach their goals.
