Led a team of expert IT product owners, hardware product specialists and charge point engineers – who focus on developing AC & DC charge station hardware, OCPP communication with our backend, station configurations through portal and expert technical support. Though I’m located in the Netherlands, my team is spread across 4 countries as we are responsible for developing solutions for all our core countries – Sweden, Norway, Germany and the Netherlands.

Part of foundational core team that developed the initial range of products in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, which subsequently expanded its operations into India. I was responsible for all charger design, development & deliver - which included establishing and cultivating the R&D team consisting of embedded hardware, software, and mechanical engineers. Member of Research and Development and hardware development lead of TOON (www.toon.eu) smart thermostats and Home Energy Management Solutions (HEMS).Responsibilities: • Closely working with HW-SW Architects/Sales/Product Management - to define the new product specifications and translating market requirements into Hardware/electrical requirements, • Identify/validate key components, engage vendors/supplier and partners (Components, PCB, Mechanical enclosure) on the development • Review of Schematics & PCB Layout and carry out various design analysis (temperature profiling, Sensor evaluations, Power estimations, Reliability), • Bring up of proto boards, test/debug, CE certification (LV, Safety, EMC, ErP, RoHs,..etc) • Coordinating with OEMs for manufacturing (in NL as well internationally), Supply Chain issue management and product sustenance.

Involved in the development of a next generation VDSL2 /VPlus CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) Mother board. This is a mini-exchange like standalone product, which can handle the function of NT/LT as well a Router. The board includes a high-end network processor and an application processor, both with their dedicated DDR3 memory, DSP (Digital Signal Processors), AFE (Analog Front-end), Line drivers and Splitter modules.Responsibilities: Components Selection, Schematics Design, PCB Layout Guidance & Review, Design documentations, Functional & Electrical Validation and debugging.

As a Hardware Lead, I owned the design & development of several “cost conscious” turnkey projects for Intel's Smart Phones & Tablet PC designs., which includes one of the best selling 8" Tablet PC models all over the world and a 5” Android Smart Phone. All the designs were built around Intel Quad core CPUs, memories (DDR3L, NAND, eMMC, SD Card) and with rich set of peripherals (LCD, Capacitive Touch Panels, 3G Modem, WiFI/BT, Audio/Codec, USB, HDMI, MEMS Sensors, Battery..etc). Responsibilities: Involved in System Architecture/Scoping, Key Component Selection, Schematics Design/ Review, PCB Layout Guidance & Review, Enclosure design coordination, Signal Integrity Analysis, Functional & Electrical Validation, and BOM cost Optimization.

The project was a design and development of a truck-trailer refrigeration unit controller board, and customized circuit simulation tool, optimizing manufacturing process and performing testing, debugging activities. Worked at Customer development Centre in the United States., closely interacting with multiple design groups.Responsibilities: Involved in Circuits Component Selection, Schematic design, PCB Layout Review, Testing (Functional, Environmental and certification), Mechanical design co-ordination, Reliability Analysis (Component De-rating, MTBF, FMEA) and Product Sustenance.

Involved in the development of a Validation PCB for a high-end Digital TV SoC . The SoC is a highly integrated TV Processor, indented for Flat Panel Digital TVs. The Validation board provides the platform to validate all the functionalities of the Soc. Interfaces on Board includes HDMI, DVI,LVDS based LCD, RGB, and DDR2,Ethernet and USB.Responsibilities: Schematic design, Component selection, BOM, Signal Integrity Analysis, Layout Guidance, FPGA Coding and validation, Board unit test & SoC bring-up testing.

Designed various multiprocessors based digital COTS module products which are used in Military and Aerospace Rugged applications and automatic test equipment platforms. Open standard form factors include cPCI, PCI, PCMCIA, VME, VPX and VXI.
