Autocad Engineer
India
1. Designed approximately 50 kilometers of fiber optic and fiber network cables across different cities in Belgium, utilizing software like AutoCAD, Intergraph, and Geostruct. This large-scale fiber network design project required careful planning, strategic routing, and close collaboration with municipal authorities to ensure optimal coverage and connectivity for the target areas. The use of advanced software tools allowed the team to efficiently model, simulate, and optimize the fiber network designs to meet the evolving connectivity needs of the region.2. Conducted quality and control analysis for both preliminary and detailed design stages. The comprehensive quality assurance process involved repeated testing, inspection, and validation of the fiber network designs at various checkpoints. The preliminary design phase focused on evaluating the feasibility, technical specifications, and compliance with industry standards, while the detailed design stage involved more in-depth analysis, including bandwidth capacity, Fiber distribution panel and optical network unit placement. 3. Trained new engineers on various design tasks and responsibilities. As an experienced fiber network specialist, the role involved mentoring and upskilling junior engineers to develop their technical expertise and design capabilities. This included hands-on training sessions, knowledge-sharing workshops, and collaborative project work to familiarize the new engineers with industry best practices, design methodologies, and software tools. 4. Led a two-month pilot project called Fiberklaar, which focused on bringing high-speed fiber internet to clients by designing and deploying an average of 25 kilometers of façade cables. This innovative project was a strategic initiative to accelerate the adoption of fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) technology in the region, requiring close collaboration with local authorities, community stakeholders, and end-users.
