Though my major is Strategic Communication, I also have a high interest in Marketing, Professional Sales, and Management.My passion lies in working with people. I have over eight years of experience working and managing multiple different restaurants. Through all my experience, the biggest lesson that I learned about jobs is, customer service is simple if you put your heart to it. In my experience, it all comes down to treating people the way you want others to treat you. I love working with people, meeting new people, and making new friends. Though I do love succeeding in my job, I usually find myself happier when I see others succeed. My biggest strength is my observational skills. I constantly monitor what is happening around me and how I can improve the situation. Like a motor, my brain is constantly spinning, critical thinking, and problem-solving. This can be as simple as someone needing water or napkins. I feel that my brain operates in a way that I always am ready to respond to anything. Working in restaurants, my biggest pride is to take the time to help my customers. Making a personal connection and making sure they get to experience the best we have to offer. My second best strength is my writing skills. Throughout my classes, I learn different ways to communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
