As a part of New Minds Academy 19/20 I got great internal coaching and relevant educations. I also got the opportunity to do some internal work with the development of an multiplatform app where I was responsible of the UX design, graphical content and product strategy.

As a UX Designer at Volvo Group Connected Solutions I got a great understanding of how a structured organisation works with product development and practices scrum. My role meant working close to the Product Owner and external stakeholders. It involved responsibility of the user experience and included UX research, user testing, creating MVP's, product strategy, technical understanding of the system, creating graphical content etc. Depending on the project the process could vary, but we always focused on engaging developers in the design process.The product I worked on was a fleet management system for the truck industry. The users mainly consisted of dispatchers, fleet managers and truck drivers. I designed both for web and mobile and tried to involve users as much as possible in the process.

Master thesis which investigated how the user experience could be enhanced for an operator maneuvering a remote vehicle. I used a combination of the methodologies from Design Thinking and IDEO, which involved thorough desk research, expert interviews, ideations, prototyping and evaluating. The result was packaged into guidelines which gave the reader an understanding of which information an remote operator needs in order to perceive the vehicle and its environment, and how to present it in an intuitive way which does not causes fatigue.
