As the General Counsel I am responsible for all legal matters in the company. The position involves overseeing and identifying the legal issues in all departments, including corporate governance. I report directly to the Managing Director and is a member of both the Management Team and the Board of Directors. The role is broad with high value responsibilities and decision making. Due to the deregulation of the pharmacy market from an earlier state-owned monopoly to a more complex market with competition in combination with a high level of regulations, the work as a General Counsel has been challenging. New contract models, new business partners, new rules and regulations has resulted in a challanging environment for a great number of years, and all parts have still not landed.

Gothenburg

In May 2018 the new EU General Data Protection Regulation shall apply in all Member States. The objective of this new set of rules (replacing the current Personal Data Act in Sweden) is to give citizens back control over of their personal data, and to simplify the regulatory environment for business. As Data Protection Officer (DPO) at Tamro I am empowered to ensure that the company is compliant with all aspects of applicable data protection laws and regulations. I am furthermore registered as DPO with the Swedish Data Protection Authority. The role includes implementation of a data protection compliance program, assessment of the operations, creation of policies and procedures and training the personnel.

As Public Relation Manager I am responsible for coordinating the company's contacts with external organisations, authorities and officials related to the comapny's business. The aim is to build mutually beneficial relationships between the company and their publics.

As Compliance Officer I am responsible for implementing a compliance program, train relevant personnel, handle case reports, set and communicate limits for gifts and hospitality, monitor the company's activities from a compliance perspective, launch a case reporting tool and to make the program alive through our Intranet and by other means. The Compliance Program includes a Code of Conduct, an Anti-corruption Policy and a Competition Compliance Policy. As Compliance Officer I report directly to PHOENIX group Compliance Officer in Mannheim.

Gothenburg

As Communication Manager I coordinated Tamro's internal and external communication. The responsibility included the company website, Intranet, marketing material, company presentation material and strategic planning of the communication and visual guidelines.

Tamro Group launched its own pharmacy retail chain when the pharmacy retail market was deregulated. With the aim to become one of the top pharmacy retail chains Apotek1 opened 35 pharmacies during the first year. In 2010 Apotek1 was sold to Apotek Hjärtat, currently the no 2 pharmacy retail chain in Sweden.

In the position as Head of Quality, Safety and Environment I assumed responsibility of an organisation with a handful of employees coordinating the regulatory work within the Company. The pharmaceutical distribution market is highly regulated and the quality Control and safety requirements are comprahensive.
