- Lead weekly committee meetings for Data Science committee consisting of ~30 members- Teach data science concepts to students, culminating in a final project at the end of the semester- Create a welcoming community for women interested in computing fields- Previously member of Data Science and Machine Learning committees, understanding concepts such as supervised and unsupervised learning; co-created a recipe recommendation system using skills acquired

Help students in class of >1000 at weekly office hours and discussion for CS 61A (Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs) course

Neiman Lab- Researched evolution of P. Antipodarum snails from multiple lakes in New Zealand- Utilized BLAST, Argon Supercomputer, and Sequencher to identify mutations in different lineages- Identified trends along lineages and different ploidy levels across lakes to determine the effects of whole genome duplication and polyploidy on the evolution of a species- Created a research brief and poster, and presented the poster to fellow students, PhD students, and professors at the university

Snyder Lab- Researched and wrote a literature review on the relevance of exosomes, particularly exosomal miRNA, in diagnosis of MDD and measurement of treatment response- Used R to analyze two data sets on cytokine levels in patients after receiving CAR-T therapy and developing Cytokine Release Syndrome using t.tests and Shapiro-Wilk tests- Learned about academic writing and R data analysis
