Pooja was working as a Climate Tech VC Analyst with Climate Collective. Previously she was with a sustainability-focused VC fund - Peak Sustainability Ventures.Pooja was a part of the Rhinos cohort of Terra.do’s Learning for Climate Action course.She is actively looking to learn more in the areas of Climate Change, Sustainability, Alternate Materials, Decarbonization, Clean Energy, Impact Investing, Green Financing, etc. She is curious about the subject and passionate about contributing towards sustainability and climate change.Some of the actions she’s taken: -- Proposed to BMC (India's richest municipal corporation) for Greener Ganpati celebration in 2019 and was invited to meet the Solid Waste Management Head of BMC. Her proposal was sent as a recommendation to all 22 wards of Mumbai l.- Organized Awareness session for Waste Management at source in her society and caused regular segregation and composting of waste - Associated with a Needbox Foundation for content creation / spreading awareness on the impact of plastic usage on the environment/humans.- Selected and Participated in a Climate Change workshop organized by ‘Youth ki Awaaz’- Conducted a webinar on ‘Connecting back to Nature’ for ‘Taree Social’, an NGO for senior citizens- Actively participated in webinars & courses on sustainability, climate change and related topics- Completed a course ‘Sustainable Cities’ by SDG Academy and Indian Institute of Human Settlement- Got an article featured called “my environmental  journey so far in the  Enhancing Green Economies in Asia (EGEA) newsletter which is an initiative of the European Union's Erasmus+ program  She is a CFA level 2 student and wants to apply that skill set too towards sustainable finance, green financing, and impact investing.Always happy to connect in this field!
