Occupational Therapist, Public School Assignment- Provide occupational therapy services to students at assigned public school placement. - Complete documentation of daily sessions on the day of service. - Complete IEPs in accordance with the timelines of the school. - Attendance reports completed in accordance with the stipulations of the assigned school district. - Respond to school district and parent’s questions regarding children on the caseload (40 + students).

Responsibilities:- Responsible for accurate and comprehensive evaluation of residents based on physicians referral using standardized and non standardized assessment tools. - Developed effective patient centered treatment plans with integration of information gathered from patient, caregiver, family and initial care conferences. - Responsible for training family member(s), caregiver(s) and staff members(s) in implementation of techniques in patient's prior living environment. -Supervising certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and or Aides in direct patient care and patient related activities. - Communicate with the Supervisor and Interdisciplinary Team members about patient care, goals, progress and problems through participation in Rehab team conferences, patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, family conferences and caregiver training sessions. - Prepare timely documentation which include specific subjective and objective goals, details regarding patient's needs, patient's potential to benefit from treatment and maintain consistency with the billing data.

-Interpreted standardized and non standardized evaluations to formulate individualized goals and treatment plans with kids aged 4-10. -Assessed functional, emotional, psychological, developmental and physical capabilities of the child- Directed specific therapeutic programs for individuals using sensory integration, behavioral, play, remedial and group therapy.

-Worked in various health care domains such as Mental Health, Neurology, Pediatrics, Geriatrics, Physical Disabilities, Community /based Rehabilitation- Planned treatment sessions, home programs and follow-up sessions-Fabricated client specific adaptive equipment and orthosis to maintain and restore function at home and work
