I worked on the design and execution of two new office spaces, branding and redesigned a kids Nursery school. For the design and management of the projects, I worked closely with client and sub-contractors. My works include concept design, detailing, material selection, estimation, production works and finally site supervision.

I worked on developing the brand and experience for several project including a pharmacy, a café and a private farmhouse outdoor design. I work with the client extensively in developing the brand and the service requirements. As part of my work scope, I design the concept stores and manage site supervision communicating with all the subcontractors involved in the projects.

I was involved in the design and development of a B2B service platform, brand development, an internal self-reporting app, and digital marketing content for private clients at Mesdac. The internship helped me to gain competencies across many different areas such as Graphic design/Branding/User experience design/Digital marketing strategy/Social media marketing and management. Moving from Italy to Oman, I had to research the local customer market to understand design and communication trends, I referred to case studies provided by my supervisor. Working from home due to the pandemic gave me an opportunity to take complete responsibility for my work with basic guidance from my supervisors. Due to the current situation, most of the work was slowed down, from the office side as well as from the client’s side. I learned to adapt to client demands and to deliver content within set deadlines. Despite the limitation, most of my work was completed and approved by the clients. I was happy to work for clients from different industries, it helped me gain knowledge from many different fields.

I worked at my university part-time as a teaching assistant while doing my thesis research. I was happy to support my professors in conducting design activities for fellow students and exchanging knowledge with them. Looking at my dedication and mentoring capabilities, I worked with many professors for two consecutive semesters on two subjects I am passionate about: Building materials and methods of construction and Interior construction drawings. I guided the students during class hours, corrected assignments, provided references, conducted site visits for measure drawing, and organized exam sessions supervised by the professors.

Working primarily in retail design, I had the opportunity to design and execute concept stores of many different brands across food, clothing, automobile, and interior products industries. I worked with different teams, adapting to different roles which included market research, material sourcing, site measure drawings, site evaluation, making estimations, a timeline of the projects, and attended client meetings. During the internship, I could explore a new city, learned new working dynamics, and was glad to interact with many senior design professionals.

I worked on the interior concept for a private three floors villa in Muscat. I was provided with the architectural drawings and I worked on the interior concept starting from moodboards, material specifications, layout, and all set of interior working drawings: furniture/ flooring/ ceiling/ electrical, wall sections and an autocad 3D model for visualization.
