Doubled debit network transaction volumes through pricing analyses and merchant partnerships, expanded the size of the core surcharge free ATM network by five times, rebuilt the customer service organization, redesigned the network’s product development process, introduced the first network compliance process, launched a debit processing business and a credit union prepaid card, implemented network’s first fraud solution, delivered an enhanced P2P product experience and a network mobile product solution for our credit unions.

• Product Management: Conducted an overall strategic assessment of MasterCard’s ecommerce merchant payments product offerings. Delivered a debit market approach and analysis for MasterCard’s North American Debit Product Group. Developed the business requirements for eCiti, Citigroup’s virtual bank product offering. Delivered the fraud monitoring business and technical requirements for Citigroup’s new real-time P2P money transfer product. Developed the business requirements for the e-Business product launch of Paine Webber’s Retirement Services Group. Delivered a European public sector market entry study for MasterCard’s Prepaid Product Group. Conducted a ten country commercial payments product evaluation for MasterCard’s International Product Group.• Network Management: Designed and built the cash management back-office infrastructure for Citigroup’s 5,000 unit off-premise ATM program. Managed the on-line debit, global migration of Citigroup’s 60+ banks to their new IP based network. Completed a reconciliation process re-engineering design for one of the largest merchant processors in the U.S. Developed the original network rules for American Express’ launch of their Bluebox offering, which allowed banks to participate in the Amex network as they participate in the MC and Visa networks.• Strategic Assessment: Conducted an overall payments assessment and strategy for the USPS Treasury. Delivered a merchant acquiring strategic assessment for American Express European Operations as well as Diners Club North America.

• 4 Major Acquisition Due Diligence/Business Development Efforts: Led the operational due diligence team and the business integration team on Perot Systems’ eFunds acquisition efforts. Led the Perot deal team to develop an assessment for a new ATM/POS driving utility located in the Arabian Gulf. Directed the acquisition due diligence of the Diner’s Club Egypt franchise. Led the product due diligence team during the CES operational acquisition of the Wells Fargo portfolio.

• Project Management: Managed the implementation of the MasterCard/Visa F/X conversion for Citigroup’s PIN-based card transactions. Directed the back-office process re-engineering efforts and an operational workout of nearly $22 billion in unreconciled items at one of the largest financial institutions in the U.S.
