These strategies include: -Plan and host training workshops, public events and fundraisers-Coordinate and manage communication between EMG and external community-Public outreach to student clubs, organizations and classes -Facilitate collaborations with media and student organizations This position involves constant maintenance of internal and external relationships in order to support and compliment the high-quality work produced by the Daily Emerald newsroom and other EMG products. In addition to my role as outreach director, I am the newsroom representative for the EMG's board of directors and serve on the board's finance committee; I am a member of the newsroom's editorial board; and, I manage the social committee. As a content developer, I explore and analyze engagement projects to identify potential content for Gather and the Let's Gather Medium Blog. I write case studies and blogs, in addition to editing content for Gather. I also create strategies for implementation and promotion of case studies, content and initiatives for Gather.
