I started my career as a research scientist at a biotech company located in San Diego, CA. I conducted both molecular biology and biochemistry research for assay development of a screening platform for taste modulation. After many years in the lab, I decided to go back to school and obtain my MBA from Boston University, concentrating on Health Sector Management and Finance. Upon graduation in 2009, I joined Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Graduate Leadership Development Program (GLDP). Since then, I have held various leadership positions within Sales and Marketing, primarily focused on the In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) space. Currently, I'm the Director of Business Development, Precision Medicine Post Transplant and BioPharma. In this role, my team focuses on leveraging our portfolio to enable clinicians to provide personalized and precise treatments to their patients. Our Post-Transplant portfolio focus on providing information on allograft health of a transplanted organ to clinicians to assess the risk of rejection. For BioPharma clients, we leverage our technology platforms to co-develop companion diagnostics (CDx) to identify patient populations that may benefit from the safe and effective use of an immunotherapy.
