At Child Foundation, I had the privilege of leading initiatives that made a real difference in both our operations and the lives of those we serve. By diving into donor data, I was able to understand their giving patterns better, which allowed us to connect with them in more meaningful and impactful ways. Implementing Salesforce CRM was a game-changer—it brought together our vast data under one roof, making our work smoother and more efficient.One of the projects closest to my heart was ensuring that Afghan children received their much-needed thalassemia medication quickly. It was a challenging task, coordinating with pharmaceutical companies across the globe, but knowing that the medication reached these kids in time was incredibly fulfilling. I also developed a gift-matching strategy that really resonated with our donors, helping to build stronger relationships and deepen their commitment to our cause.On the education front, I worked with a fantastic team to create learning paths for students in countries like Tajikistan, India, Nepal, and Indonesia, helping them find their way into STEM fields—a journey that many of them embraced wholeheartedly. Lastly, expanding our global reach was a significant milestone. At Arcimoto, I took on the challenge of improving how we connected with our customers and handled their needs. By interviewing subject matter experts and conducting surveys, I dove deep into our customer communication and sales strategies. This process allowed me to identify key areas where we could do better, and as a result, we were able to respond to customer inquiries and issues much faster.Working closely with a small but dedicated team, I led efforts to refine our CRM system. We collaborated with senior management to find and implement the best solution available, one that truly fit our needs. The impact was significant—not only did we make our customer management processes much more efficient, but we also strengthened our sales approach, making it more responsive and effective. Analyzing this data allowed me to work closely with various departments to create programs that truly made a difference, ultimately reaching and supporting thousands of students each year.In another key initiative, I collaborated with teams across the university to establish a set of financial and non-financial KPIs that helped us track our progress more effectively. We also developed a comprehensive program portfolio aimed at advancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) on campus. By addressing these performance issues, I was able to diversify our program offerings, making them more robust and better suited to our mission. I also worked on improving our grant applications, refining them to better meet the needs of our funders. This effort was capped off by developing a new fundraising strategy that not only strengthened our financial position but also significantly boosted our revenue. Through careful planning and collaboration, I was able to secure a substantial boost in our operational budget, allowing us to expand our efforts and make an even greater impact.Leading a team of five junior program managers was another rewarding aspect of my role. I focused on empowering them by delegating tasks, holding one-on-one meetings, and facilitating brainstorming sessions. This approach helped them grow in their decision-making and problem-solving abilities, which was reflected in the success of our flagship event—a weekly gathering that became a staple at the Mills International Center, drawing over 500 students each week for four years.
