The journey at The Information Company has been nothing short of exciting. This is my second stint with the company and this time, I got a chance to work on different aspects of corporate communications. From website content management and social media to internal communication campaigns, I have created content for some of the biggest corporate brands in India. My clients: Aditya Birla Group, Mahindra Group, Godrej Industries, Godrej Design Dekko, Hindalco Industries and Aditya Birla Chemicals.

My role at Jack in the Box involved managing different digital assets of brands such as Suburban Diagnostics and Cloudtap to name a few. I worked closely with clients to understand brand needs and drive business goals. Being an account manager, I had to align and coordinate with internal teams, develop processes and ensure smooth operations. However, the most interesting part of the role was managing the commercials of the project and maximizing the revenue and the ROI.

As a Communication Solutions Manager at TIC, my role included social media and content strategy and development. I was involved in end-to-end account management which included planning, implementation, monitoring and analysing social media accounts for various clients. I also created content for websites, blogs, infographics, emailers, video scripts, promotional campaigns and power point presentations. My clients: Tata Motors, Cipla, Aditya Birla Group, Fino Paytech (now Fino Payments Bank), Tata Trusts and Godrej Industries.

TheHealthSite.com has been instrumental in shaping my social media enthusiasm. I began my career as a content writer and was quickly given the daunting task of setting up and managing different social media accounts for the website and generating traffic from them. It taught me the importance of social media trends and how to generate and leverage content to make the most of those trends.When I started out, the website traffic from social media was 0.2% of the total traffic. Within a year and a half, I managed to increase it to 10% of the total website traffic. Apart from increasing Facebook page reach and growing followers on Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube and Instagram, I was solely responsible for the Facebook verification of TheHealthSite.com-Hindi and TheHealthSite.com-Marathi, the website’s regional content pages. As a health and lifestyle content writer, I managed the news desk along with writing compelling content pieces with click-bait and SEO-optimised headlines. I frequently wired with top doctors and health experts in the country for their expert inputs on articles. Managing the news desk gave me a thrill. It not only taught me to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment but it also gave me the opportunity to experience the euphoria of a news ranking at number one on Google News, not once but many times.
