Beaker Implementation Projects (02-2014 – 07-2015):1. Project Managed Instrument Interface Development, Testing and Implementation:• Coordinated resources and project activities to lead instrument interfaces with Beaker implementation. Facilitated meeting with stakeholders and appropriate vendors to ensure on track developed and testing completion aligned with Beaker go live. • Lead development and testing of unique build for MPA automation line to work seamlessly with Beaker. • Developed the Point of care interface with RALS/Alere for glucometers. Implemented ambulatory and Inpatient locations.2. Lead on Facility Structure Planning and Build:Performed in-depth analysis of workflows to recommend a facility build for Beaker that accommodated laboratories' primary request to minimize blood collection by developing a unique build with virtual departments and container sharing. 3. Lead on Interface Development, Troubleshooting and Testing:Lead and facilitated development and testing of external interfaces like EPIC, Quest, Alere, RapidCom and Calredi. Lead completion of functional testing and Mapped Record Testing (MRT).4. Lead for Microbiology Build Development and Testing:• Validated and developed over 130 microbiology tests and over 1500 organism records (LLO).• Lead to implement various instruments in microbiology: BACT, MIGIT, MALDI, Microscan and WASP Walkaway Processing Unit.• Instrumental in developing unique cascading rules and intrinsic rules build for susceptibilities reporting that was recognized by EPIC to be presented in the 2016 XGM conference..• Developed decision trees for all micro cultures that allowed technologists to document micro workup efficiently. 5. Lead on Beaker Result Routing Development, testing and implementation:• Lead and build result routing scheme for Beaker submitter patient results.6. Lead on Build and Testing for Submitter Records:Validated and implemented participating and non-participating submitters.
