Engineer - Project Manager primarily responsible for the upgrading and construction of municipal aerobic wastewater treatment plants, and water reclamation facilities, in addition to collection system forecasting and planning, risk analysis, industrial pretreatment systems and their discharge and loadings to the company's wastewater treatment plants in Arizona and Texas.Tasks and Duties included; Performance and Equipment Calculations, Project Management, RFP and RFQ process, Scheduling, Budget, Value Engineering, Drawing Redlining, Risk and Hazard Analysis, Easements and Permitting, Flow and Loading Projections.Owners representative for the $100M+ design and construction of a 4 MGD MBR water reclamation facility. This project had a number of complexities in the projected collection area growth, permitting, accelerated construction schedule, design based on land size and wastewater loading of residential and industrial facilities. Forecasted the sizing of the treatment plants based on levels of uncertainty of project collections area future growth, whether it is financially viable to replace versus repair equipment and systems, selection of appropriate contractors for work needing to be performed, risk and safety analysis for new equipment and procedures, cost reductions and value engineering for projects when corporate budgets were reduced pre and mid-project, and evaluation and selection of treatment options based on submitted designs.

Project and Construction Management of anaerobic and aerobic-based industrial wastewater treatment systems for the brewery, winery, and food industries. Working with internal teams to bring equipment purchase agreements with customers from initial signature to operating systems, in various geographical locations across the US.Responsible for scheduling and budgeting of all aspects of projects, RFP, and contract negotiation with contractors and subs, materials and equipment management and logistics for on-time delivery and implementation of systems.Field supervision and management of; construction and equipment installation, new site inoculation and commissioning by operations and R&D teams. Undertook a long term monitoring program of suburban sewage content and concentrations, part of an initial study into regional-based total dissolved solids (TDS) concentrations, for future urban water recycling projects.Created, and administered the Cleaner Production division equipment registrar, equipment vendor selection, and standard operating procedures (SOP) manual.Industrial pH trade waste limits investigation, to find, and recommend applicable methods to reduce TDS generation by minimising the amount of pH adjusted required of the wastewater.
