This can be done through the employment of sophisticated instruments, non correlated asset classes, exotic investment strategies and exclusive active management. Simply put, we avoid “black swans” while taking advantage of growth opportunities as they present themselves. Growth in a bull market is relatively easy, whereas protection in bear markets is usually hard to come by. We use tactical management to manage risk and shift from defense to offense.
