If you couldnโt tell from my LinkedIn profile, Iโve always had a passion and talent for all things digital marketing. I started my career back in 2014 as a sales manager specialising in PPC and SEM for small to medium businesses. My drive, passion and talent were quickly recognised and I rose to the position of Chief Operations Officer, leading 3 digital agencies with over 160 staff in multiple locations. I decided to launch my own company, RankingCo, into the United States on the 22nd of March 2020. The first year of operation wasnโt without its challenges. Imagine launching a business in the middle of a pandemic, with a major social movement of Black Lives Matter, as well as a tumultuous election in the United States. Like most companies, RankingCo was looking forward to what 2021 might hold.We stayed focused on the business plan and by February 2021 the first office was established in Woolloongabba in Brisbane, Australia. As a business owner myself, I know that starting a business isnโt easy nor is it glamorous. You are accountable for everything and have to constantly find the motivation and drive to succeed.
