Porter D. “Pete” Caesar II, CFRE, is President of Porter Caesar, LLC, an independent consulting firm, partnering with non-profits throughout northern New England on capital campaigns, strategic planning, and board and institutional development. Pete formally worked with a major capital campaign consulting firm in Portland, ME, where he covered the waterfront in management, supervision, training and direct consulting roles, with special expertise in education and youth agencies, including summer camps. Pete brings over 30 years of experience in education as headmaster, administrator, facilitator, and fund raiser. He provides clients with comprehensive management, strategic planning, and institutional counsel. He formerly served as academic dean of Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, and as headmaster of Providence Country Day School in Rhode Island. Pete is a skilled listener, facilitator and management coach with extensive experience in helping boards, executive directors and development teams drill down to their core planning and fundraising needs. A sought-after presenter and facilitator for boards, conferences and workshops, he focuses on highly interactive and practically applicable training. Pete is the past president of CONFR, the Council on Fundraising in New Hampshire. He chairs the Lakes Region Advisory Board of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation. He is also a life trustee and former president of the board of Camp Agawam in Raymond, Maine, and has served on numerous boards of schools and youth groups throughout New England.
