Miyamoto is typically "first on the ground" after a major earthquake and is well known in various countries.I'm working with the owner on monthly financial reporting, risk management, cost savings / restructuring, and daily accounting / operational issues in a myriad of different countries. - Overhaul of monthly Financial reporting, consolidations, and adjustments for compliance.- Restatement of prior year audited financial statements.- Filing of 30 deliquent tax returns.- Filing of prior two years of 5500’s for 401k plan and 4 years of 5500’s for health benefits.- Developing processes for tracking sales and filing deliquent sales and use tax returns for 30 states.- Valuation and determination of purchase price for two prior acquisitions and common stock of the company.- Hiring of multiple outside specialist to assist in determining fair value, tax liabilities, and various other matters.- Implemented tax strategies utilizing R&D credits ; generating more than $3m in net benefits.- Acquisition of a 30 person firm in Denver Colorado with an ROI of less than 18 months.2018 - Successfully navigated the Company through acquisition / merger by Cannon Design.

- Led varying team sizes and engagements of up to 12,000 hours - responsible for the engagement completion and delivery as required based on owner, banker, private equity and SEC deadlines.- Technical research and conclusions in stock-based compensation, revenue recognition, deferred taxes, business combinations, tax interpretations, equity transactions, and debt-modifications.- Reviewed several 404 engagements for Accelerated SEC filers resulting in zero findings by PCAOB.- Assisted teams in responding to PCAOB findings related to audit standards and approaches.- Created and delivered varying teaching materials for delivery at a local and national level.- Natural Work Team Leader for a team of 15 individuals providing career advice and mentoring.Accomplishments:- Promotion to Assurance Partner in 9 years.- Partner of the year for all of California in the first year of promotion.- McGladrey's President's Council providing guidance to the CEO of RSM McGladrey, Inc.- LEd recuriting function for California for 2 years- Assigned to national inter-office inspection teams; reviewing SEC and Private Equity engagements.
