I worked for the same judge in the NY Supreme Court system for six years in the Bronx Integrated Domestic Violence Part, then the Youth Part, then the Trial Part and, finally, the Judicial Diversion and Treatment Part. I conducted research and drafted decisions concerning the following areas of the law: custody, visitation, family offense, criminal (both misdemeanors and felonies), and matrimonial. Heard and decided cases brought by the Transit Authority against respondents charged with violating Transit Authority Rules.

Supervised ten staff attorneys, mentored college and law school students, represented children in Bronx Family Court in cases involving custody, guardianship, visitation, neglect and abuse, immigration, domestic violence.

Taught legal analysis, research and writing to first-year law students.

Conducted legal research and wrote compelling appellate briefs and memoranda of law for other attorneys. Wrote summaries of cases, interviews, and evidence; drafted deposition questions, document production requests, and sets of interrogatories; and conducted 50-state surveys of dozens of laws, and then turned that research into cohesive and easy-to-understand articles.

Supervised seven litigators in matters involving a life insurance program providing coverage to five million active and retired federal employees. Coordinated litigation in conjunction with local trial counsel in states outside New York.
