My team plans and executes new strategic initiatives for Ford's Tier 1 websites (www.ford.com; www.lincoln.com). This broadly entails the user experience, shopping tools, personalization, metrics, and analytical tools for both Ford and Lincoln in the US and Canada. For my part, I focus on engaging stakeholders, leading requirement gathering, generating workflows, and maintaining documentation in the wiki. I collaborate with the rest of the team to groom the backlog and plan releases. This role leverages my experience as a systems analyst to gain an immersive understanding of the technical platforms and adequately cross-communicate requirements between business and development teams. Given the rapid iteration of releases, I can provide a level of acumen that ensures both product quality and the proper execution of the business vision.

As the lead business analyst for the Autonomous Vehicle Experience program, I was responsible for the identification, definition, and documentation of essentially any new system for AV's that didn't pertain the actual driving of the car. This includes in-vehicle systems such as infotainment, comfort controls, and cabin monitoring as well as connected services for trip management, back office, customer service, fleet operations, and mobile device integration. Taking direction from the Program Execution Team and Cruise Automation, I led a team of BA's in transforming journey maps and a high-level business vision into requirements suitable for development. This was achieved by first recognizing the disruptive characteristics of self-driving vehicle's in GM's Product Development; then continuously experimenting with tools, processes, and contexts that would generate results in the presence of ambiguity. I consider critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration to be key attributes of this work. Accomplishments include the Cruise AV as well as future products not yet announced. Special projects assigned include V2V/V2X, Smart Trailering, and a Connected Vehicle Technology Assessment for the CEO.

CLIENT: BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD OF MICHIGAN (BCBSM)Served as Delivery Lead, Technical Lead and Business Analyst supporting Revenue Management Risk Adjustment (RMRA) objectives through updates to the web-DENIS and Health e-Blue web applications. Responsibilities included managing multiple aspects of project development and strategic planning; coordinating day-to-day; defining requirements; and maintaining project financial forecasts, resource rosters and development estimates. Implementing the Health e-Blue application required support of various aspects of the Agile Scrum methodology used to rapidly turn around software development.CLIENT: AGENCY FOR HEALTHCARE RESEARCH AND QUALITY (AHRQ)Business Analysis Manager for the United States Health Information Knowledgebase (USHIK) - a web-based tool that promotes the harmonization of health-related data as well as the presentation of standards and metadata. Was responsible for the oversight, development, and management of the USHIK Business Analysis team which is comprised of three analysts. Tracked national regulatory and policy changes that affect healthcare technology. Particularly those surrounding ARRA, the CMS EHR Incentive Program, and Clinical Quality Measures.

Facilitated the hospital's CCHIT self-certification and CMS EHR Incentive Program attestation by providing analysis of the Meaningful Use Final Rule, program measures, and the HITECH certification requirements. Contributions set the foundation for planning, development, and implementation of solutions needed for the hospitals inpatient system to qualify for program reimbursement. Particular focus was given to the CCD document standard and clinical information exchange.Led the million dollar implementation of the hospital's anesthesia information management system. Responsible for clinical stakeholder participation, building content, coordinating software & hardware deployments, and conducting functional testing of the system's components.
