Lisa Posey has a rare mix of experience within the political, corporate, entertainment, travel and healthcare realms. She has provided strategic marketing counsel to corporations, political campaigns, production companies as well as numerous A-List celebrities. Her clients are the Government of the US Virgin Islands including the Department of Film & Tourism, Office of the Governor and Virgin Islands Housing Finance Authority, and have included the United Nations, Black Entertainment Television, Showtime, Target, the City of New Orleans and the state of New York. She has been a key publicist on the Grammys and the NAACP Image Awards. She has been on staff as PR Director of the Apollo Theater and wrote for the CEO of Time Warner as a Manager of Executive Communications. She started out in television at Disney and FOX and has also worked at various top PR and advertising firms including WPP’s Uniworld Group.A successful entrepreneur, she financed and built her own full-service public relations company, the p.r. squad, based in Beverly Hills for eight years and her shop’s clients included SHOWTIME, BET, talk show host TAVIS SMILEY, the JOHNNIE WALKER BLACK brand & CITY OF HOPE.Her non-marketing temporary job assignments in NYC from 2010 - 2012 included a long-term stint at the NFL and A&E Networks, Lazard and Lightyear Capital.For the past 2 years, she enjoys volunteering at the Los Angeles Harbor Animal Shelter, working with the APBTs, Rotties, Westie mixes, Min Pins, Chihuahuas and other breeds. She is a graduate of Vassar College.
