About Peggy Thomas

Peggy Thomas became an advocate for those with unique learning needs when her son was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome at age 4. Hungry for knowledge, especially in those early years, she believed everything she read on the internet. When her son was 10 she bought a tutoring company so she’d have better access to accurate information-Club Z! In-Home Tutoring of Fayette County helped over 2600 students in the 11 years she owned it and it continues to serve the community today.Peggy is a proud graduate of the Georgia Partners in Policymaking Program, where she met self-advocates and other tiger moms yearning to change the world. As a business owner, she chaired the board of the Fayette County GA Chamber of Commerce, where she built relationships with her children’s future employers and other brilliant business people who now continue to support our community. She and her husband Joe are racing into “Re-Wirement” by starting a real estate investing company. They love to travel, so are focusing on furnished luxury properties.
