At Noble, I managed 60+ U.S. and international banking relationships and spearheaded new lending arrangements with regional banks to grow and diversify financing sources. Specifically, I led the evolution of the company’s financing over time to optimize its credit goals and availability, including:• growing early-stage inventory monetization and one-off discounting into a robust working capital program of non-recourse discounting across 20 banks, including securitization, supply chain, and inventory finance programs;• negotiating and executing bilateral facilities across multiple commodities (including gas, power, oil, metals, and agriculture);• converting the bilateral arrangements into a syndicated L/C facility; and• in the midst of credit downgrades, later consolidating outstanding facilities into borrowing bases totaling $3B with 16 lenders, including carve-outs for inventory finance and receivables discounting.Subsequently, I facilitated the wind-down of the borrowing bases - in collaboration with lenders, their counsel, restructuring firms, auditors, and insurance companies - to return creditors 100% of their outstanding loans.I also achieved a 58% savings on credit insurance by renegotiating premiums to leverage our outstanding portfolio of receivables, collaborated with the investment committee on acquisition due diligence, and facilitated on-site and field audits by Big 4 and bank-appointed collateral accounting firms. Promoted from Vice President in 2015.

In my earlier consulting practice, I served multiple businesses, including Noble Americas Corp., leading global commodities trader Transammonia, Inc. (now Trammo, Inc.), and other companies.Engagements included:• Advising on legal, financial reporting, and operational issues for origination and credit risk management of secured lending, syndicated loans, borrowing bases, and commodity finance;• Negotiating syndicated and bilateral credit facilities totaling $1B+ including favorable covenants and advance rates to significantly increase the borrowing base;• Achieving a significant increase of eligible collateral by negotiating new asset classifications; and• Securing new margin financing lines for metals and agricultural businesses.

At Titan, I handled not only corporate banking, borrowing base, and L/C origination and negotiation but also high-level administrative, insurance, and legal matters, such as litigation, M&A, contracts, international trade, and human resources. Some highlights of this role include:• Leading a multi-$M federal court litigation and recovery against a major insurance firm, including all aspects of multi-national internal investigations;• Heading the defense and actively managing the strategy of an antidumping case before U.S. Dept. of Commerce and International Trade Commission that avoided the imposition of a double-digit duty and closure of entire division;• Creating an enterprise-wide HR program, expanding employee benefits with a 47% savings, and directing two relocations of company headquarters, one of which was during union strike; • Developing insurance risk management policies to achieve a 54% savings; and• Spearheading the review and restructuring of incentive compensation across all areas of company to better align with corporate and individual goals as Trustee of the profit-sharing plan.
