I am a quick-learning, driven accounting employee who excels in communication, analytical processes, critical thinking, and meaningful work.In my job experience with the Canada Revenue Agency, I closed and proposed more files than most employees within their first couple years of employment. I went against the public perception of what dealing with the CRA can feel like, aiming to treat every person with the utmost respect and empathy to establish pure and honest connections throughout audits. Communication, honesty, time management, and the ability to truly listen and acknowledge others as human beings were crucial to turning otherwise negative interactions into rapport-building events. I push myself and strive for excellence in my work. I thrive in work environments in which there are never-ending workloads. I want to make a difference, grow my skills, and help those around me to succeed in their work. After years of trial and error, I have found my professional calling in accounting. Using credits from previous schooling in my younger years, I pushed myself to go beyond all expectations as a mature student in my accounting degree, resulting in a GPA of 4.13 regarding the business courses. I proved to myself and my professors that I could go from academic probation due to the mistakes of my youth to straight A's across the board for every semester of my accounting degree.
