Designed, configured, implemented, monitored, patched and upgraded a full network environment involving IBM i servers, Microsoft Windows servers, from Windows NT to Server 2008 R2, Active directory, DHCP, DNS, Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino servers, Citrix Servers, Linux servers, Firewalls (policies and VPNs), and switches, for head office and branches in 3 locations.Effectively managed object promotions, package builds, deployed packages in a multi-environment JD Edwards ERP system. Responsible for the configuration and troubleshooting the Enterprise One application and web servers running on IBM i and Windows 2008 server. Developed, modified, troubleshoot and debugged report programs and applications within JD Edwards ERP system.Designed, developed and implemented a program to integrate the JD Edwards ERP system with Silanis E-signature to replace paper Chain of Signature for controlled substances saving 4 personnel approximately 1 to 3 hours a day each, along with reducing both photocopier and postage costs.Streamlined the Promotional sale business process by designing and developing programs that populated excel spreadsheets from vendors with current JD Edwards ERP system info and identifying items not listed. Finalized spreadsheets were then used to update the ERP system, taking care to create any new items, setting effective pricing. The end result being, condensing 3 weeks of work per promotional sale into minutes per day.Developed numerous customer self-service functional areas for a website resulting in providing timely information to customers and reducing customer requests to the Customer Service and Accounts Receivables departments. Some of the functional areas created were reprinting invoices and credit notes, reprinting statements, run purchasing reports, and check status of items ordered, new listing and private label order form, discontinued items list, and manufacturer back order reports.

Worked closely with Sales to deliver services and products that exceeded customers expectations. These included developing client\server applications, developing websites, providing product support, implemented firewall technology and filter policies thus providing a secure presence on the web while protecting internal networks from intruders.

Over my career as an officer in the Canadian military, I coordinated and developed business plans for the Administrative branch of 17 Wing, effectively allocated & tracked an operating budget in excess of $2,000,000, successfully completed concurrent projects involving both military and civilian personnel in a timely manner and within budget, oversaw a myriad of operations including fitness, sport, recreation facilities & programs, and social facilities as the 17 Wing Personnel Services Officer.
