My current responsibilities as a Customs officer with the Customs office include but not limited to:>To obtain 100% compliance with QMS/ISO 9001-2015 and AUDIT requirements: -Through Implementing Internal Audit recommendations within agreed timelines by monitoring and updating audit queries on team central and provided 96% of the requested information >To ensure that the audit recommendation are implemented within the greed timelines.>Providing written response to all audited issues within the department and within the set timelines.>Submit data gaps within the business process and forward the gaps to the business transformation office.:-Through attending weekly Internal Audit Department (IAD) meetings as the IAD liaison officer>Asses and issue demands to overstayed audited queries, in line with the requirements from the business transformation office.>Contacting respective tax payers for data enrichment as well as responding to queries they may have concerning the queried data.>Ensuring Data Cleanliness and Data reporting is done for accurate record keeping.>Carry out site inspection visits for conversion of project goods to home use.
