CurrentTasks include: Managing all aspects of product development processes, creating concept and prototype models, CAD modeling, circuit design, risk analysis, managing employees and equipment, handling supplier and manufacturer selection, and supply chain management.• Manage projects from concept to working prototype, including evaluating risk potential, proposal submissions, project estimates, researching parts suppliers and manufacturers, communicating and negotiating with suppliers, assessing electrical and mechanical loading, writing C++ code for electronics controllers, circuit design, and prototype construction.• Diagnose and repair equipment failures, including PIDs and pulley systems, averting production crises and bringing business into solid financial standing.• Product development using hydraulics, electronic components, gears, bearings, DC motors, electronic speed controllers, chemically resistant materials, DC power supplies, conducting research, and, as needed, consulting fellow experts.• Hire and manage staff, control equipment and supplies, equipment maintenance, create quotes and proposals, and offer training on Gibbs CAM package for CNC mill and lathe programming and Haas CNC mill and lathe.• Demonstrates product development success on multiple diverse projects. Horizontal oil well pumps, light for dog use, fabric retraction and expansion method, dynamic automotive wing actuator, affordable keg washer for microbrewery industry, and automation for home beer brewing systems.• Developed a new disc golf caddy design that ultimately became Micro Motion, Inc.’s top-grossing product line.• Improve and optimize manufacturing processes to increase throughput and reduce lead times and non-conformance. In addition, enhance first-pass yield, implement single piece lean flow, and improve safety and standardization across world areas.
