I help private equity and venture capital funds in their transactions and investments across the Asia Pacific and start-up companies in their business planning and fundraising. I also advise on fund formation, which provides me with comprehensive experience in the PE/VC industry. I represent corporations in transactions and joint ventures across various sectors, including renewable energy, BioTech, FinTech, travel, and consumer. From my experiences working for and with start-ups and corporations across various industries, it's been a recurring theme that business often grows faster than the development of laws. My greatest strength has been navigating my clients through areas that do not provide black-and-white laws and guiding them to accomplish their plans. I am qualified to practice law in Taiwan and New York. I am a native Mandarin Chinese speaker and fluent in English. I also learn Spanish for the love of communicating with more people and understanding different cultures. Away from law practice, I am a “retired” amateur basketball player, swimmer, and lifeguard, and occasionally an ice hockey player. I am also an avid hiker and enjoy photography. In addition, I'm a lifelong Pittsburgh Penguins and Dallas Cowboys fan.
