Syccesfully delivering corporate portfolio of International Events by being strategic, smart, collaborative, and detailed. Managing a small team to ensure timelines and budgets delivered, whilst ensuring sponsors receive the best return of their investments!

Project managed multiple one day conference and exhibitions to 400+ people, including the annual global conference and exhibition of 10,000sqm space over two days seeing over 4000 + attendees. I also project led and delivered multiple Pavillions around the world, taking small UK based businesses to meet international companies. In 2020 , I delivered over 30 virtual webinar sessions, and the first virtual conference and exhibitions. I learnt alot and continue to grow.

Recruited to deliver their annual conference attracting over 5000+ attendees over three days. Areas of responsibilities included exhibitions and speaker management.

Collaborated with Senior management to identify internal events to organise and trade shows to exhibit at.Prepared event program and sourced VIP speakers such as government ministers, company founders, presidents and CEOs. Researched venues for events and socials; carried out site inspection of venues; negotiated contracts, terms & conditions and accommodation rates; and ensured all health and safety assessments were completed before the contracts were signed and confirmed.Took minutes for all internal meetings and prepared summary reports which were distributed to team members.Co-ordinated all logistical operations with the venues from: layout, seating planning, catering, audio-visual, monitoring accommodation allocation, shipping and ensuring deposit deadlines were met.Managed the annual event budget of £1M and the travel budget of £200,00.Organised the main annual event, the annual seminar at venues like, to name some: - Shangri-La Singapore; Grand Hyatt Dubai; Jumeirah at Etihad Tower Abu Dhabi; Sofitel Rio de Janeiro; Le Meridien Mumbai; Landmark Hotel London; Radisson Blu Hotel Cape Town.In addition to meetings, I organised many social events to coincide with the annual event, examples of these are:- Night at the Museum at the Natural History Museum for 500+ guests;- The street party at the Universal Studios Sentosa in Singapore, plus drinks reception at world famous Raffles hotel in Singapore; Arabian Dessert Safari evenings in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai; River cruise dinners on the Seine in Paris, the coast off Copacabana beach in Rio de Janeiro, and Mississippi River Cruise on a steamboat in New Orleans.

Arranged local and international meetings via Outlook calendar and booked venues where required.Carried out the administrative tasks related to the events, e.g. registration, invoicing on IMIS database; expenses management and badge production.Diary Management for the Chief Executive, Technical Director and other travelers.Booked Travel and accommodation for those travelling and sourced major savings where possible on business class flights.Booked venues for corporate lunches, in-house meetings, Christmas parties and socials.Planned and managed the annual Charity Ball for 300+ guests, in addition to the annul golf day for 100+ guests.Successfully marketed and branded all events and other publicity materials such as newsletters and brochures.Updated content and marketed events an event App. Updated the Association website with correct information on events via IMIS (cloud-based EMS).Formulated, marketed and secured sponsorship packages with existing sponsor member companies and new sponsors, whilst maintaining contact throughout the event timeline.Researched and sourced bespoke executive gifts for the speakers and VIPs at events.

Influential in growing the number of members, from 250 member companies in 2003 to over 1000+ in 2016. Successfully promoted the Association’s Membership and image via the tools mentioned overleaf. Attended industry trade shows to represent the Association, and procure new members for the organisation.Provided existing members continued support, whilst preparing all correspondence for new members, issued invoices and membership certificates by post and email.Chased members for overdue invoices.Assisted all members with their queries, pointing them in the right direction.Sent electronic monthly update email communications to members.
