Senior Director – Technical ServicesIn this role Patrick was responsible for as many as 100 associates across a wide range of technical disciplines. His teams represented a corporate shared services organization with accountability for the day to day operational support of a complex data center environment with over 5,000 servers. His organization worked closely on a daily basis with many diverse ADP field support, implementation, and software development groups in order to provide world class service for National Account (over 1000 associates) level clients. His teams spanned: • Oracle DBAs supporting over 4,000 hosted Oracle ERP instances (24 associates) • Multiple product support teams responsible for server administration and incident management • Data Center product hardware / software provisioning • An operations control center providing 24x7x365 support with local, remote, and offshore associates • Product infrastructure network operations • Project ManagersPatrick achieved a high level of performance to SLA/OLA metrics such as system availability and IT service request execution while delivering double digit cost savings annually. He owned data center incident / problem management processes and various aspects of their execution. He collaborated closely with Development and Field Support organizations to achieve both improved applications architecture for ASP hosting environment and drive product / business initiatives representing Hosting Services organization, and worked with corporate compliance teams to implement and maintain ISO-9001, SAS70, and ISO-27001 certifications.Patrick was at all times responsible for ensuring delivery on a diverse portfolio of projects supporting a wide variety of ADP applications and services to accommodate exploding demand for technology outsourcing.

In this role Patrick provided leadership to a team of 50 IT professionals. Director of Client/Server and Advanced Web Technologies PracticesThis position included day to day management activities, operational P&L responsibilities, strategic planning, employee rewards and retention, and significant business development activities (sales pursuits). Patrick was active in promoting solution offerings that included traditional application and web site development, as well as data migration and system integration. He was also was personally involved in pursuing all growth opportunities in the local market, and managing costs to ensure continued profitability of the Practice. A Practice Leader role in this organization was entirely responsible for the success of virtually all aspects of their organization.Director of Pervasive Technologies PracticeIn this capacity Mr. Pesch was asked to build a new Practice focusing on delivering custom solutions centered on the practical implementation of mobile technologies. System ArchitectMr. Pesch was one of two system architects tasked to lead a development group re-engineering a legacy Unix based application suite for a 32-bit Windows Architecture. This project required managing the transition from structured to object-oriented design and implementation paradigms using the C++ language. He was heavily involved in the definition of appropriate tools, standards, and new software development technologies.Programmer / Team LeadPatrick served as a team leader on a various software development projects utilizing the “C” programming language. He was involved in all aspects of development on several implementations of Unix.

ProgrammerPatrick’s initial responsibilities included application design, coding, debugging, and deployment support for a back office system supporting major department stores. After a year in this position he was selected to participate in a high profile, accelerated schedule project team directed at releasing a new product.
