This removed the need for a corporate network in the branch offices. The Security Posture of the IT Products in its Datacenters where back up-to-date and ready for the next step to move all traditional infra towards Azure. All IT Operations and Change was outsourced to various partners, like IBM, Dell, TCS and Infosys.I mainly focused on significantly reduce IT complexity, improve the Security Posture and bring down the IT cost. Worked as a Crisis Manager in the IPPON program. The aim of the IPPON program was to improve train routes, traffic control, workplaces and information provision to third parties before the end of 2011. These objectives where demanded by the government in order to provide the end customer with better up-to-date information and to gain more control over the trains running on the track. To realize this, a new application 'InfoPlus' had been developed.With the introduction of InfoPlus at the traffic control posts, new 24/7 workplaces where needed. I worked as a crisis manager in this project to ensure the smooth running of the development, testing, pilot and release of these Linux Production workstations. In addition, I was involved in making the (travel) information available to the NS and other rail carriers. 95% of targets achieved within budget and time. Due to internal budget cuts, I left the project prematurely and transferred remaining work to the internal organization.
