Our team has fully rebuilt the company's content marketing WordPress website on Gutenberg. We have also facilitated the migration of tens of thousands of articles into the new Gutenberg-based data structure, all of that in 5 languages. Then we have built a custom CDP (customer data platform) using Symfony and API Platform. And to top things up, we have created several React-based frontend clients that talk to that API.I played the team lead role during critical parts of the process organizing the work (planning, allocating resources, supporting stuck devs, supporting the product owner, doing one-on-one's, reporting directly to the CTO). During my periods as the lead, the team has fully paid off its previously accumulated task debt and has delivered every single sprint at 100%.

I have founded mauer.co — a WordPress themes publisher, whose products have been purchased over 2000 times by customers from over 80 countries. We distribute the themes via ThemeForest.For mauer.co I have built 7 WordPress themes from scratch. I have done both the frontend and backend development. The backend is based on WP's native APIs as well as ACF Pro and Gutenberg. The frontend utilizes Bootstrap, responsive CSS, Flexbox, and React (for custom Gutenberg blocks).All the themes have passed the rigorous review process of ThemeForest and have complied with WordPress' official coding standards.The themes created by mauer.co have received a number of industry awards for design and code quality (Awwwards, CSSDA — see the list in the awards section of this LinkedIn profile).

I was working on the Power Lineage Family History tool. It is a web and iPad app aimed at genetic counsellors. The tool saves time on building family pedigree charts and facilitates the calculation of genetic diseases risks. In this role I have come up with the information structure and the wireframes for the Power Lineage website, and managed the production of it (including video production). Which later helped to make the deal with the NYSE-listed Invitae Corporation, who eventually bought Power Lineage.I was doing product ideation, competitor research, user journey mapping, and frontend prototyping of new features. I have also developed a number of email templates for the product newsletters.

The design studio was providing custom design and development services to local and foreign businesses. The services included a wide range of activities from designing a long-time POS campaing for a major gas station chain (identity, billboards, website, loyalty cards, door stickers) to designing mobile applications.I was wearing many hats: planning and managing the work of the team, bringing in new clients, and doing full stack web development on WordPress.

I worked there as a journalist covering the local and global financial markets (which had lots of events to cover during the global financial turmoil that had been happening at the time). Later I got promoted and became the head editor of the financial section. This role included researching the topics, as well as planning and managing the work of the 6 journalists that were under my command.
