Export Executive
CurrentPlanning and Coordination:• Develop export strategies for timely, cost-effective international shipments.• Coordinate with internal teams (production, sales, and logistics) to ensure products are ready for export.• Plan routes and manage schedules to meet delivery deadlines.Documentation and Compliance:• Prepare and manage export documentation such as Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Certificates of Origin, and Export Declarations.• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, including customs requirements, tariffs, and taxes.• Stay updated on export laws and regulations to ensure adherence to legal requirements.Liaising with Stakeholders:• Communicate with freight forwarders, customs agents, shipping lines, and other parties to coordinate goods movement.• Act as a point of contact for clients in foreign markets, providing shipment updates.Risk Management:• Assess shipment risks, including delays, damages, or customs issues.• Ensure insurance coverage is in place for goods in transit to mitigate financial risks.Inventory & Logistics and Financial Management:• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production teams to ensure sufficient stock for export.• Arrange and oversee transportation, ensuring cost-effective and efficient shipping.• Work with finance teams to manage payments, letters of credit, and pricing.• Ensure timely invoicing and payment collection for goods shipped overseas.Relationship Management & Market Research and Expansion• Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, suppliers, and logistics partners.• Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback related to export operations.• Research potential markets and identify new business opportunities.• Develop and implement strategies to enter or expand in new markets.Shipment& Delivery Management:• Create and monitor shipments to ensure timely completion.• Manage logistics to ensure cost-effective and efficient delivery.
