The Patient Experience Research Centre (PERC) is led by a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to improving the quality of healthcare and impact of translational research through patient and public engagement and involvement.In this post-doctoral role, my key responsibilities included:> Leading and supporting several research and public involvement/engagement efforts as part of Imperial's COVID-19 Response Team, including the REACT (Real-Time Assessment of Community Transmission) research programme> Leading a qualitative research project exploring the expectations and experiences of curefor people living with and accessing treatment for hepatitis C> Helping to drive innovative and meaningful involvement of patients and members ofthe public in health and social research across Imperial College. This included: producing training tools and resources, optimising internal processes, leading Imperial's adoption and use of VOICE (an online platform for public involvement), managing a public advisory group, and facilitating workshops and events> Exploring methods for planning and demonstrating the impact of public involvement inresearch, which includes being part of NIHR INVOLVE’s Public Involvement Impact Working Group

Strategic adviser, project coordinator and content manager on behalf of the Science Museum for the relaunch of BBC's Tomorrow's World. The vintage brand was to be re-imagined for the 21st century and used as the banner for Britain's biggest ever science engagement campaign and partnership across digital, broadcast and institutions (Science Museum Group, Wellcome Trust, the Royal Society and the Open University).

On behalf of the London Pain Consortium, I co-curated and managed ‘Pain InSights’, a public engagement project and exhibition that formed part of the Wellcome Trust’s 75th anniversary celebrations.

I carried out active research and provided scientific advice for a Joint Research Centre-funded project led by Dr. Wenlong Huang, Chelsea & Westminster Hospital.
