I've been a member of ATD both in New England and here in Tampa for more than 10 years. I've volunteered on the board and held various positions over the past couple of years.The Florida Suncoast Chapter of the Association for Talent Development (ATD) is a nonprofit professional association serving both local and national members in the Suncoast (greater Tampa Bay / St. Pete) region of Florida. The association provides its members with the knowledge, skills, tools, and resources necessary to ensure ongoing professional development, and the ability to deliver exceptional value to their organizations in the area of talent development, workplace learning, and performance.

We embarked on a humanitarian endeavor during the fall of 2008 with World Vision to provide Caregiver Kits to those suffering with AIDS and HIV in Africa. We were able to raise over $100,000 in 4 short months - and then assemble and ship 3,500 Caregiver Kits. Our Caregiver Kit Build was on November 22nd and it was a day to remember. So many people came out to help and assemble these kits. In 2010, Boston Aids Africa shipped over 3,800 kits, providing compassionate care for nearly 10,000 individuals with AIDS.

Sierra, a leading adventure game developer, produced some well known games including Kings Quest, Leisure Suit Larry, Phantasmagoria, and so many more. Responsible for $60 million in annual sales, both domestic and international.
