Prasanna is a part of the Investments team at Motilal Oswal Private Equity, covering Financial Services, Healthcare, and Consumer sectors. His role encompasses the entire investment lifecycle - from deal identification and evaluation to deep industry research and portfolio company monitoring.Prior to joining Motilal Oswal Private Equity, Prasanna had the privilege of being part of the KPMG Deal Advisory team, where he worked on some marquee Private Equity deals in India and provided tax advisory and compliance services for global PE funds. His exceptional performance on projects has been recognized by his team for exceeding expectations.Academically, Prasanna achieved All India Rank 11 in CA Intermediate and All India Rank 3 in CA Foundation. His passion for finance led him to pursue the CFA certification, and he has completed CFA Level 1, scoring in the top 90th percentile. He has a penchant for numbers, evidenced by scoring a perfect 100 in Maths in both HSC and SSC examinations. He has also cleared the Actuaries Common Entrance Test with 86% score and wishes to further expand his knowledge and skills by pursuing additional papers in Actuarial science.Beyond academics, Prasanna enjoys interacting with people and actively participating in various events at RVG, an all-CA students' hostel in Mumbai where he resides. He is dedicated to mentoring junior CA aspirants through platforms such as YouTube, LinkedIn, and Mentoverse. He frequently serves as a guest speaker at various platforms, both physical and virtual, offering guidance to CA students.In his leisure time, Prasanna enjoys watching podcasts, listening to music, and playing cricket and table tennis.
