During my 2 years of National Service, I was commissioned as an Infantry Officer in the Singapore Armed Forces. I was then posted to the Basic Military Training Centre as a Training Officer in my capacity as a 2nd Lieutenant, where I was in charge of the following: - The dissemination and adherence of Training Directives amidst the battalion- Planning of Induction Programs for new Platoon Commanders and Infantry Officers posted to my unit I was subsequently promoted to the rank of Lieutenant, and completed my service in September 2016.
