My current research focuses on the computational modeling of Fiber Reinforced Cementitious Matrix (FRCM) for masonry and reinforced concrete substrates, which are subjected to dynamic loads from earthquake ground motion.

Ph.D. from the Civil Engineering Department of IIT Madras. The title of my thesis is "Nonlinear Modeling of Unreinforced Masonry Walls Considering In-plane and Out-of-plane Interaction." My research mainly focused on developing a nonlinear macro-element for masonry piers, an analytical model for in-plane and out-of-plane interaction of piers, and a pushover analysis incorporating the effect of the angle of seismic incidence. Apart from research, I acted as a Teaching Assistant for the subjects: Basic RC design, Design of Masonry Structures, and Mechanics of Materials.

I worked as an Assistant Professor in the Civil Engineering department of PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. Some subjects that I taught to undergraduate and graduate students are Applied Mechanics, Computer-aided Analysis and Design, Design and Detailing (RC and Steel), Engineering Graphics, Structural Dynamics, and Prefabricated Structures.
