Designed, developed, tested and supported new RESTful (JAX-RS) web services using JBoss RESTEasy framework and EJB3, JPA, JMS on JBoss EAP 6 server.➔ General provisioning of Cox Cable customer account and devices using RESTful WS. First, a receiver puts the client input XML messages on the ActiveMQ queue via a router. Then, the processor unmarshals the XML message from the queue and executes a particular workflow. The workflow updates the database with account and device information and sends the device (set-top box) notifications. Lastly, the processor returns the response to the receiver via the router. JMeter was used for load testing.Stabilized, enhanced and maintained batch jobs running as RESTful WS using Quartz scheduler on JBoss EAP 6. ➔ The batch server application comprises of three types of jobs: (1) On Demand, (2) Scheduled and (3) Startup. The functionality of the batch server was enhanced by adding new batch jobs, moving jobs running in other subsystems onto the batch server, and modifying batch job details tables to store additional information.
