After completing my Masters in orthopedics at SCB MC, Cuttuck, and a brief stint at EMC, Cochin, I worked as Lecturer in Pediatric orthopedics in CMC, Vellore, under renowned pediatric surgeon, Dr Vrisha Madhuri from 2007-2008. Went on to complete theDePuy international Fellowship program in Joint replacements under Dr Gurava Reddy in KIMS, Hyderabad, the second largest centre for joint replacements in India (2008-2009). After returning to my home state, Kerala, I worked as Assistant professor in orthopedics, Amala Cancer institute and medical college, Trichur, kerala 2009-2010. Joined as Consultant surgeon at Royal Hospital, Kunnamkulam, Trichur ( 2009 -2013), Royal being one of the busiest trauma centres in Kerala state. Joined as Consultant at Aswini Hospital Pvt Ltd, a 250 bedded tertiary level hospital in the heart of Trissur city , Kerala in 2012. Went abroad in June 2013 to join LLH Hospital, Abu dhabi. Took a 3 month leave for the Mitek Fellowship in Shoulder surgery under Dr Ashish Babhulkar, elite shoulder surgeon, Pune, India in 2014. After my return, I continued to work as Specialist Orthopedician at LLH Hospital, Abu Dhabi , UAE, as Shoulder, sports medicine and Joint replacement specialist, areas of interest being shoulder , wrist, knee, ankle and wrist.Did my Diploma in musculoskeletal ultrasound from UCAM university, Spain, 2016 and FRCS (T&O) from Royal college of Surgeons of England(RCS Eng) in 2018. Was awarded the SICOT Spine fellowship for 2018 - did the fellowship under Dr Rajashekaran S at Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore. After having worked for 6 years in VPS healthcare, took up the invitation to join NMC healthcare, and completed the move in November, 2019.
