• Manage the Renewals Deal Desk Function and assist the customer success team with Deal Structuring, Quoting and Pricing, Special Terms and Exception Approvals Management.
• Work with finance to ensure all deals have the appropriate booking packages. This includes fully executable agreements and proof of delivery
• Train the customer success team on pricing, quoting and contracting models and best practices and consult with field teams on specific contracts where appropriate
• Ensure the details of Accounts and Opportunities are accurately reflected in SFDC (SalesForce.com)
• Maintain and complete tasks within SFDC from sales reps and other internal departments.
• Drive system and process enhancements to improve the team’s scalability and efficiency

• Responsibilities:
• Gather information on customer needs from Sales personnel, and leverage Akamai’s systems and policies to efficiently translate customer needs into valid orders for Akamai services.
• Assist Sales personnel with the renewal of existing customer contracts by managing the end-to-end order renewal workflow
• Work with appropriate internal functions such as our Finance, Product Management, and Services teams to obtain approvals for non-standard orders, and work with Akamai’s Legal team to draft non-standard addenda
• Work with the Contracts Department to resolve contract issues
• Track the status of in-process sales orders and provide updates to Sales personnel
