Worked on the development of a high-speed data acquisition system for analyzing cosmic muon charge curves, utilizing a specialized ASIC (DRS4) and FPGA.Tested the existing prototype and identified the errors/ issues, both in hardware and VHDL code.Wrote VHDL code for the FPGA which is controlling and reading data from the DRS4 chip, and achieved a sample speed of 4 GSPS.Wrote C/C++ code for the onboard soft core NIOS processor, for sending data to a back-end server via Ethernet connection.
