As a historian with a deep passion for Ancient Indian History, my research focuses on the socio-economic structures of ancient India, particularly the formation of village economies during the Mauryan period, and the critical role of trade in the emergence and spread of Buddhism, both within India and across regions like China and Southeast Asia.I am especially interested in how these developments shaped India's historical trajectory and influenced broader cultural and economic exchanges in Asia. My work explores the interconnectedness of trade routes, religious dissemination, and socio-political transformations across civilizations. Additionally, I have a strong foundation in the study of the Indian National Movement, subaltern history, and the history of tribal and peasant movements. This interdisciplinary approach enables me to analyze historical developments from multiple perspectives, enriching both my research and teaching.
