HealthTap is a virtual healthcare provider that provides 24/7 access to primary healthcare doctors, as well as serve millions of doctor curated Q&A on its website. I lead all the analytic development efforts for external as well as internal stakeholders. • Driving Data Democratization: Drove down cycle time for data requests from 2 weeks to less than a minute by delivering multiple self-serve dashboards, thus driving faster strategic & tactical decision making. • Return on Investment (ROI) Model: Led the development of a comprehensive ROI model / case study that showed 388% savings on healthcare costs to the customers. The model links customer activity on HealthTap to the medical insurance claims data, and calculates savings by determining hospital visits avoided due to use of HealthTap. • Medical Operations Savings: Slashed doctor staffing costs by about 25% by identifying inefficiencies & issues in operations, and coming up with a plan to address those. • Growth Marketing Attribution: Worked with Engineering & Product Mgmt to define Events, Pixels & A/B tests that can be used to do attribution as well as improve customer acquisition & funnel conversion (Google Analytics, Amplitude, Optimize, Facebook ads, Google ads)• Data Modeling: Driving data modeling requirements for the Engineering that makes sure that there is no data loss and any historical data can be reliably & accurately reproduced at any point in time.• Reports Standardization: Led a project to move away from multiple customer specific reports to a set of 4 standard reports that can be packaged out of the box, driving down significant development & maintenance time to onboard & support a new customer.• Tools: SQL, Tableau, R, Python, Google Analytics, Amplitude

I also led the development of various dashboards that helped monitor various KPI’s important to business.• Customer Churn: Led the development of a model to determine customers who are likely to churn out, thus identifying a target to go after, and reduce churn. The model helped drive segmentation and sizing for various initiatives including Upgrade Your Roku Campaign, and Enhanced Initial Onboarding, all geared towards retaining customers & reducing churn. • Customer Lifetime Value: Led the development of a model to determine the lifetime value of customers and devices that helped business make informed decisions wrt customer acquisition costs vs lifetime value. This model helped in valuing and negotiating various partner deals.• Financial Valuation: Conducted several financial valuation exercises using the churn and lifetime value work to value various partner deals, and determine if they would be profitable to Roku over the long run.• Fraud Prevention: Studied web traffic and device activations data to identify sources of fraudulent behavior, implemented measures to counteract fraud, thus bringing down fraud and increasing customer satisfaction.• KPI’s Dashboard: Led the development of a comprehensive set of Tableau dashboard that brought together a set of KPI’s important to business. This brought multiple sources of data into one view, and eased analysis of various slices of data; became a goto dashboard to answer various device/account questions. • Channel Recommendation Engine: Led the development of a recommendation engine that suggested new channels based on customer viewing history on the lines of “Customers who watched Channel X also watched following Channels”. Model used to make recommendations to customers and increase customer satisfaction and retention.
